CHIARUGI OBOE STAPLE - #3

Chiarugi's #3 oboe staples are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and reliable performance. Cold drawn and lathe turned, these staples offer superior dimensional accuracy and a flawless surface finish. Each staple is equipped with fine Portuguese cork and features triple serrations, which enhance cane stability during the tying process.

The #3 staple is distinguished by its larger base, straighter taper, and a similar upper oval opening to the #2+ size. Its larger aspect ratio (length-to-width) can help to elevate the pitch in the high register and influence the instrument's response and tone. These staples are available in both nickel silver and brass, with a standard length of 47mm and an additional 46mm length available in brass.

The #3 staple is designed to fit perfectly on Chiarugi's #3 mandrel but can also be used with smaller mandrels.
