KIMONO "RED" PREMIUM SILK SWAB

Much like the traditional kimono which is constructed from a single bolt of fabric, this limited series of 30 Kimono "RED" Swabs are artisan crafted from fine traditional “Gofuku” kimono silk from a single narrow bolt known as a “Tanmono”.

Historically, tanmono’s were hand-woven, making each kimono constructed from that single bolt unique and one of a kind. Despite the introduction of modern machine weaving in the 19th century, many of these fine silks are still produced in the same fashion to this very day.

Each finely crafted Kimono Swab comes adorned with an embroidered Sandpiper logo, hight tensile (95lbs) leash, solid brass weight and numbered certificate of authenticity.
