CHIARUGI OBOE STAPLE - #5

Chiarugi's #5 oboe staples are highly esteemed for their exceptional craftsmanship and reliable performance. Designed to replicate the characteristics of Glotin staples, these staples feature a conical taper with a larger base opening and a flatter ellipse at the tip compared to other Chiarugi staples, although not as flat as the latest Glotin models.

These staples are meticulously cold drawn and lathe turned, which ensures precise dimensional accuracy and a superior surface finish. The fine Portuguese cork and triple serrations enhance the security of the cane, making the tying process more stable and dependable.

The #5 staple's unique shape, with a larger aspect ratio and conical taper, is designed to closely match the profile of modern Glotin staples. Available in brass with a standard length of 47mm, these staples fit perfectly on Chiarugi's #5 mandrel but can also be used with Glotin mandrels.

The base area measures 19.11mm².
